General Rules And Regulations

LIBRARY

The students can avail of library facilities from 9.30am to 4pm. Monday to Saturday. The Library is closed on Sundays and all public holidays. Each student is provided with a Library card at the beginning of the academic term.

Dress Code for Boys

On working days, boys should wear plain white half sleeve formal shirt with formal black pants, black belt and formal black shoe and white socks. On ceremonial occasions(as directed by the Principal) , boys should wear white formal full sleeve shirt with formal full sleeve shirt with formal black pants, black blazer, black-tie, formal black shoe with white socks.

Dress code for girls

On working days girls should wear plain white formal tops with three fourth sleeve and formal black pants and sleeveless waist coat (12cm from waistline) with executive black shoes only. Hair should be neatly combed and tied up. On ceremonial occasions (as directed by the Principal) girls should wear plain white formal full sleeve shirt with black pants, formal black blazer and executive back shoes. Students are expected to avoid Fancy Ear rings and other similar ornaments Disciplinary action will be taken against students who are not in full uniform along with the ID card.

Prohibition of Mobiles:

As per Govt order students are prohibited to use mobile.

Campus Politics

Students are strictly prohibited from campus politics and the use of tobacco products, drugs, alcohols etc.

Parking of Vehicles

Students are to park their Vehicles at the allotted Places. Non complaints will attract fine.

Code of Conduct

The Hon’ble High Court of Kerala in R.P No.4351/2003 (Sojan Francis V M.G University 2003(2) KLT 582 has directed all the universities in Kerala to lay down appropriate rules and regulations to enforce discipline in the campus which will be binding on all the students studying in the university whereas the syndicate of the University at its 480th meeting held on 18.12.2004 decided to evolve a code of conduct for the students studying in the university and to implement the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court.
